Forget about any hang-ups you may have about recycling edge trip and roll scrap in-house. Conair trim systems handle all kinds of film and sheet waste and return it directly to the extruder at rates of 25% or more. System costs are lower than re-pelletizing or scrap densification, and the material is not subject to an additional heat history. The system is automated and requires little operator involvement. Scrap inventories are kept low. Dust, feed fluctuations and limitations on regrind percentage – all are substantially eliminated in the Conair ScrapSaver™ system.
