Medical Insurance
Conair offers a Comprehensive Major Medical Plan to full time employees and their eligible
dependents at competitive rates. The plan offers the following services:

Also included with the medical plan are a
wellness care benefit and a prescription drug plan.
Dental Insurance
Conair offers a Comprehensive Dental Plan to full time employees and their eligible
dependents. The plan covers a full range of preventative, basic & major restorative
services as well as orthodontic dental care.
Short Term Disability (STD)
This benefit provides employees with part of their income for up to a maximum of 26 weeks
when they are unable to work due to illness or injury incurred off the job. This benefit
is provided at no cost to the employee and is only available for full-time employees.
Long Term Disability (LTD)
This benefit provides employees with part of their income for as long as they have a
qualified disability that prevents them from working. Coverage begins after the employee
is disabled for 180 days. This benefit is provided at no cost to the employee and is only
available for full time employees.
Life Insurance/Accidental Death &
Dismemberment (AD & D)
Group Term Life Insurance is provided to employees at no cost. Coverage amounts are equal
to 1-½ times annual base salary up to a maximum of $150,000.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The personal well being of our employees is important to Conair. We offer an Employee
Assistance Program (EAP) to help employees and members of their household balance work and
personal family life needs. These needs may include confidential counseling for a wide
range of problems, marital and family issues, financial and legal matters, time
management, and 24-hour crisis intervention. This benefit is provided to employees at no
cost.
Business Travel Accident Insurance
Business Travel Accident Insurance protects employees if an accidental injury or death
occurs while traveling on company business. Current coverage amount is $75,000 and is
provided at no cost to the employee.
CAREER ADVANCEMENT
Developmental Assignments
Internal transfer and promotional opportunities provide career paths up through top
management and laterally into new areas. Career opportunities are posted throughout Conair
at the same time to all employees in all locations.
Tuition Reimbursement
With prior approval, Conair will reimburse employees for certain costs for courses taken
towards formal education. Reimbursement amounts are based on the grades received. We
encourage our employees to participate in this benefit in their pursuit of higher
education.
Training
By offering quality training at each & every position, we believe that employees will
increase their value to the company. We encourage employees to participate in training
programs that will enable them to build on their talents, technological knowledge,
management abilities, and business skills. Various training courses are readily available
onsite & offsite.
COMPENSATION
Competitive Pay Programs
Salaries are competitive for each position and periodic pay increases are based on
performance. Our performance management program is designed to link individual efforts
with the results required for a successful company.
Cash Performance Bonus Plan
Recognizing that ALL Conair employees contribute by their efforts to our overall
business success, a Cash Performance Bonus Program allows employees to share in this
success. The plan pays eligible employees an additional percentage of gross pay after the
end of each month in which business targets are met or exceeded.
Profit Sharing Plan/401(k) Plan
Conair offers a retirement plan to all eligible employees. These accounts are based on
contributions made by The Conair Group, Inc. on the employees behalf. The employee
becomes vested in the Profit Sharing Plan after completing five years of service.
The 401(k) accounts are based on money the employee sets
aside from their paycheck. This plan provides the employee with the opportunity to
defer 2% to 15% of their annual pay, pre-tax, into a savings account. 401k accounts are
100% vested immediately. The plan also contains a loan provision, which enables the
employee to "borrow" a minimum amount of money from their own account.
Credit Union
Conair has its own Credit Union affiliation and saving with the Credit Union through
direct deposit is encouraged.
Safety Shoes
Conair employees may receive a one-time reimbursement of up to $60.00 per year or $120.00
every two years for steel-toe safety shoes. Additional expenses can be paid through two
payroll deductions per year. This benefit is available to all full-time employees. All
employees entering the manufacturing areas of our locations must comply with the steel-toe
safety shoe policy.
Vacations
Conair vacation benefits range from two weeks after one year of service to five weeks
after twenty-five years of service. Employees with six months of continuous service
upon approval may request an advance of up to five vacation days.

PC Purchase Assistance Program
This benefit was developed to assist employees who desire to purchase a computer for the
home with the financial assistance necessary to do so.
Casual Dress
Conair enjoys a daily "casual dress" policy which allows employees to dress in
casual business attire for most occasions.
