New for 2008: SmartBlend™ software upgrades - Ver. 2.9

TrueBlend Control
  • Elimination of nuisance and redundant alarms.
  • Fast, accurate response times to large scale changes in material type or bulk density and material outages. Eliminates half-batches on start-up, nuisance alarms and improves overall accuracy of the blend.
  • Improved algorithm provides better weight reading accuracy, more effectively filtering out electronic noise and the effects of vibration.
  • New diagnostic screen displays target setpoint percentage and actual percentage dispensed. Also displays start and finish weights for each material per batch. Aids troubleshooting and assures true and accurate blend performance.
  • Retries, when required, are performed without significantly overshooting the target setpoint. Allows continuous retries when Stop Alarm is selected.
  • New for extrusion processors – SmartBlend™ offers selectable “Natural Blend Control” which allows all materials, including regrind to be identified as “Natural” and requires component recipes to total exactly 100%.
  • Built-in capability for Conair’s 2-way communication package, ControlWorks™ blender module.
